We made it to the end of 2020 in high spirits! This year has certainly been one for the books.
As we are now deep in the holiday season, we at the Lewis Law Group would like to ask everyone to be safe in their endeavors. The pandemic is not over yet so please be sure to wear your mask, wash your hands, sanitize your environment, and observe the social distancing rules.
Just like all businesses, our practice was also affected by Covid-19. As a result of this virus, it has set the legal community back quite a bit by not having access to the courts. Many cases and hearings were stalled. At our practice, we all had to quickly shift to working remotely. Meetings were conducted utilizing the zoom and goto apps. This was a change we all had to get adjusted to but graciously welcomed.
Other third parties such as the insurance adjusters were also affected. They too had to work from home and since most of the adjusters will not be going back to work until next year, the claims process has been slowed down. Since we do not have access to the courts or jury trials, we are kindly asking our present and future clients to be patient with us as the process will take a bit longer.
In the latter part of 2020, we decided to head back to the office. We have strictly implemented all the Covid-19 protocols to keep the environment safe for our staff and clients. Masks are worn at all times, surfaces are constantly sanitized and client meetings are held in our conference room where it is possible to observe the 6 feet apart rule. We encourage everyone to do their part in trying to eradicate this virus so that we may look forward to 2021 as a prosperous year for everyone.
We want to take this opportunity to wish everyone; our staff, clients, referral partners a safe and happy holiday season.
