COVID-19: A Short Message From The Lewis Law Group

Clients, Friends, Staff, Referral Partners and Well-Wishers,

The past few weeks have been a trying time for our nation as we have been struggling to cope with the impact of the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Each and every one of us has had our lives impacted in one way or the other due to this virus. We hope that you are all finding ways to cope while staying safe and indoors.

At the Lewis Law Group, we do understand that not everyone can put their lives on hold, and certain situations still need to be resolved despite the COVID-19 outbreak. We are therefore continuing to work on your cases to bring about resolutions in any areas that we can. While the Treasure Coast court system has postponed the hearings for some cases and are moving some cases to virtual platforms, we are still doing what we can to ensure you receive the best results.

Fortunately, many of our cases don’t require depositions or a court trial, and so we can still continue to move these cases forward. We have been in contact with insurance representatives and we are looking at ways to get some of the minor personal injury cases resolved within a reasonable timeline.

As for our in-office operations, we are employing a mix of work-from-home and regular in-office work. We guarantee that there will always be someone at the office to take your call and at least one of our attorneys will also be there. Our attorneys are also very accessible via their direct lines so if you need to call the Lewis Law Group, we assure you there will be someone there to speak with you. We are taking all necessary precautions as it relates to social distancing and sanitizing at the office. As required, we are wearing our masks and practicing staying 6 feet apart.

According to news reports, we may still be in the current situation for a while longer. All of us here at the Lewis Law Group would like to encourage you to stay safe. Practice good hygiene and stay at home. If you must go out please remember to practice social/physical distancing. We may be away from one another but we’re in this fight together. The only way for us to flatten the curve is to each do our part. Please stay safe, we’re in this together!
