J.D. Lewis, III, Esq., graduated from JW Ligon High School in Raleigh, North Carolina and attended the University of Pittsburgh on a football scholarship, where he graduated in 1971. He then attended law school at North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina, graduating in 1974. He has practiced on Florida’s Treasure Coast since 1975.

Throughout the years, Mr. Lewis has served on numerous volunteer boards including the Martin County Chamber of Commerce, the United Way, the Board of Directors for the Friends of Florida Main Street, the YMCA, and The Boys and Girls Club of Martin County.
